Does Axis's Apple cashback work at Apple resellers?
Axis's Apple Store offer ends 10 October; the reseller offer runs to 26 December, up to ₹15,000 back. What changes between the two, and on EMI.
Yes, and at resellers it runs longer. Axis Bank’s Apple offer at Apple-owned stores and apple.com/in ends on 10 October 2026. A separate offer at authorised Apple resellers, in store or online, runs from 18 September to 26 December 2026, with instant cashback of up to ₹15,000 on Axis Bank credit cards. The amounts are not the same as at the Apple Store, and the reseller table pays some products more on EMI than on a full payment.
Two offers, two sets of terms
Axis publishes the two as separate documents. The Apple Store offer covers purchases at Apple’s own stores and on apple.com/in. The reseller offer covers authorised Apple resellers, and its terms say “in store or online”.
The amounts are fixed per product, not a percentage of the price. At resellers, MacBook Pro with the M5 chip gets ₹15,000, the same as at the Apple Store. MacBook Air with the M5 chip gets ₹10,000 at resellers against ₹9,000 at the Apple Store. MacBook Neo gets ₹7,000 at resellers and ₹5,000 at the Apple Store. Mac mini and iMac get ₹5,000 at resellers.
Some products go the other way. Apple Watch Ultra 4 gets ₹6,000 at the Apple Store and ₹4,000 at resellers. The iPad models in the reseller table all get ₹4,000, as does Apple Watch Series 11.
Full payment and EMI pay different amounts
At the Apple Store, one figure applies per product whether you pay in full or on a three- or six-month EMI. The reseller table has two columns: one for a payment in full and one for EMI, and the only tenure it lists is six months.
For the Mac, iPad, Watch and audio rows, both columns carry the same figure. For iPhones they differ by ₹1,000. iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Duo get ₹6,000 paid in full and ₹7,000 on six-month EMI. iPhone 15 gets ₹1,000 paid in full and ₹2,000 on EMI. The other iPhone rows sit in a grouped block in the PDF, so read the amount for your model off the merchant’s payment page rather than counting rows.
The terms say nothing about interest or a processing fee on the EMI, and they do not promise a no-cost tenure. Whatever the bank charges for the six months comes out of the extra ₹1,000.
What your card earns by itself
The offer is a discount at the till, and what the card earns on top of it varies by card. The Ace card’s record says EMI transactions earn nothing, and a purchase converted to EMI later has its cashback reversed. On an ordinary spend, Ace pays 3 per ₹200, which is 1.5%.
Take an iPhone 18 Pro Max at ₹1,50,000, an assumed price for the arithmetic. Paid in full at a reseller, the offer takes off ₹6,000. If the discount comes off the charge, the card is billed ₹1,44,000, and Ace’s 1.5% on that is ₹2,160. The two together come to ₹8,160. On six-month EMI the offer gives ₹7,000 and Ace earns nothing, so the full payment comes out ₹1,160 ahead before any EMI charge is counted.
The Flipkart Axis card has its own line in the reseller terms. On Flipkart, in online mode, it gets different cashback values from the rest of the Axis range, and the terms do not print those values. They send you to the platform’s own terms for the final discount, and they say values and eligible models can also vary on Amazon and other e-commerce sites.
The card’s record carries 5% cashback on Flipkart, capped at ₹4,000 a statement quarter. That ceiling fills at ₹80,000 of Flipkart spend. The offer terms say two offers cannot be combined. They do not say whether a card’s built-in cashback counts as an offer for that rule, and neither does the card’s record. Treat the 5% on top of the Apple discount as unconfirmed until a statement shows it.
The limits in the fine print
Each card gets two transactions per Apple product category over the whole offer period. The Apple Store offer counts differently: two orders per card in any rolling 90 days, across the store and the website together.
At resellers, the terms accept a business (GST) invoice in offline stores. The Apple Store offer refuses one.
Both offers exclude Axis RuPay credit cards paid through UPI, and corporate and commercial cards. Returned, disputed or rejected transactions do not count. Axis can change or withdraw the offer without notice, and it calls its own decision final.
The terms use “instant discount” in the headline and “instant cashback” in the clause on transaction limits. Neither document describes a later credit, so the amount should show at the payment step.
What to check on your own purchase
Before you pay, look for the Axis offer line on the reseller’s payment page, and note whether the amount changes when you pick EMI. If the line is missing, the model may be outside the eligible list for that platform, or the card may have used both of its transactions in that product category.
If you take the six-month EMI, read the first statement after the purchase for a processing fee, interest and GST on the interest. Set those against the ₹1,000 the EMI column adds for iPhones.
On an Ace card, a full payment should show the 1.5% cashback on the next statement. An EMI purchase will not.
On a Flipkart Axis card buying on Flipkart, compare the discount at checkout with the cashback line on the statement, to see whether the card’s 5% landed as well.
Krediit keeps both Apple offers next to each Axis card’s record, with their end dates, so the amount and what the card earns by itself show before you pay.
