How do you get airport lounge access on ICICI Coral?
ICICI Coral gives one domestic lounge visit a quarter for ₹75,000 of spend in the quarter before. Which spends count, and which dates the window runs on.
ICICI Coral gives you one domestic airport lounge visit a quarter, but only after you have spent ₹75,000 on the card in the quarter before. Reach that in one quarter and the visit is yours for the next. Fall short and the next quarter has no airport visit at all. Railway lounge access works differently: one visit a quarter, with no spend attached.
How the ₹75,000 threshold works
Your spend in one quarter decides your access in the following one. ICICI’s own example: to use a lounge between January and March, you spend ₹75,000 between October and December. The visit then sits on the card for that whole quarter. There is one.
The threshold resets every quarter, and nothing carries over. Spending ₹1,50,000 in one quarter gets you the same single visit as spending ₹75,000, and nothing extra for the quarter after. To have a visit available in all four quarters of a year, you need ₹75,000 in each of the four quarters before them, ₹3,00,000 in total, spread evenly rather than bunched.
In monthly terms, ₹75,000 over three months averages ₹25,000 a month. At the card’s base rate of 2 reward points per ₹100, that spend also earns 1,500 points.
The benefit belongs to the primary cardholder. ICICI’s Coral page says so twice. An add-on card does not get its own visit.
A year at the full ₹3,00,000 also clears two other lines on this card. The ₹500 renewal fee is waived on ₹1,50,000 of annual spend. The milestone pays 2,000 points at ₹2,00,000 of spend in an anniversary year and 1,000 more for each further ₹1,00,000, so ₹3,00,000 brings 3,000 milestone points. The milestone runs on the anniversary year and the lounge threshold on quarters, so the two counts do not start on the same day.
The fine print: which spends count, and which window
Not every transaction adds to the ₹75,000. ICICI’s changes page leaves out rent, government payments, education payments, EMI transactions, fees and interest, reversed and cancelled transactions, and a few others of the same kind. The EMI line matters most for large purchases: one converted to EMI does not count toward the threshold.
Separately, the card earns no reward points on rent, education or wallet loads. That rule covers points, and the lounge exclusion list is a separate list. Wallet loads are not named on ICICI’s lounge exclusion list, though the list ends with “transactions of similar nature”, which leaves room for ICICI to treat them the same way.
ICICI’s text and its own illustration disagree on where a quarter’s spend window ends. The text says the spend must fall in the preceding calendar quarter. In the illustration table, the spend that earns access for October to December 2025 runs from 26 June to 25 September 2025, and every other row follows the same 26th-to-25th pattern. The access window is a calendar quarter. The spend window, in ICICI’s example, closes on the 25th of the quarter’s last month.
The two readings agree on almost every day of the year. They part on the last few days of each quarter: 26 to 31 March, 26 to 30 June, 26 to 30 September, and 26 to 31 December. A purchase on 28 September counts toward July to September under the calendar reading, and toward the next window under the table. Of the two cut-offs, the 25th is the one ICICI has printed with dates attached.
At the lounge door, ICICI asks for the card and a boarding pass or ticket for a flight on the same or the next day. The lounge puts a ₹2 authorisation on the card when you present it. Free entry is generally limited to the cardholder, and guests may be charged.
What you can check on your own statement
Start with the window. List every transaction from the 26th of the month before the quarter to the 25th of the quarter’s last month. If ICICI applies the calendar reading to you instead, the window moves by a few days at each end: it drops the 26th to the end of the month before the quarter and adds the 26th to the end of the quarter’s last month.
Then take out what does not count. Strike rent, government payments, education, EMI instalments and anything that was later reversed or cancelled. Fees and interest go too. What is left is the figure that has to reach ₹75,000.
If the total is close, look at purchases dated from the 26th to the end of the month at either end of the window. Those are the ones the two readings treat differently, and they decide whether a borderline quarter qualifies.
Look for the ₹2 line after a lounge visit. That authorisation is the lounge checking the card. If a visit is refused at the desk, the statements for the quarter before are where to look first: they show whether the eligible spend reached ₹75,000 in the window the bank counts.
If you rely on the railway lounges instead, there is nothing to track. The one visit a quarter comes without a spend condition.
Krediit keeps the card’s ₹75,000 quarterly threshold alongside its lounge allowance, so the condition shows up next to the visit it pays for.
